Pink Beach in Komodo is one of a handful of pink beaches found
Pink B each on our planet Earth. The pink blue hue is derived from thousands
of broken corals and red foraminifera; a microscopic marine
organism.
Komodo When these foraminifera die and their shells collect on the ocean
floor, the shells get washed to the shore and are exposed to the
sun. The red hue mixed with the sand and they turned pinkish
over time.
