Ujung Kulon
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991 for its largest
remaining lowland rainforest, Ujong Kulon National Park is only 1.5
hours by speedboat from Tanjung Lesung.
Due to the 1883 Krakatau volcano eruption that caused a tsunami and
wiped out the population on the island, it has been left uninhabitated.
With a total of 78.619 hectares of land area, the park is home to
many wildlife such as deers, wild boars, buffalos, peacocks and rare
Java rhinos that offers photographers a chance to photograph these
rare animal. A place truly for wildlife enthusiast to explore.
