Manggar

Manggar is the second largest town in Belitung and located at
the east of the Island. There are many coffee shops in downtown
Manggar and these coffee shops are social meeting points of
the locals. Manggar has been nicknamed the City of 1,001 Coffee
Shops, its multitude of kedai kopi (coffee shops) has become a
worthy tourist attraction that has rivaled its picturesque beaches.
Galeri Daun Simpor: Daun Simpor is the batik motifs that is native
to Belitung island. Daun Simpor refers to large leaves of the Dillenia
Suffruticosa plant which is abundant across Belitung island. Batik
Tulis (hand-drawn) and Batik Textile material (printing) process
besides Ahok’s house located at Gantung area.
A traditional Belitung house at Ahok village, childhood home of
